Your Himalayas profile is a professional page for managing your personal brand. It showcases your experiences and achievements, adding a unique touch beyond a resume.
Creating a profile lets you apply for jobs, receive personalize recommendations via emails and matches, and gives you access to our job application tracker. For Himalayas Plus and Max subscribers, we also use the information to power our AI resume builder, cover letter generator, mock interviewer, and career coaching features.
By default, your profile is fully visible to all users of Himalayas, search engines like Google, and answer engines like ChatGPT. You can control what appears on your profile and who can see it by changing the 'Visibility' setting on your profile. There are three options:
Public profile: Your profile will be public, and shown in search results and in Google.
Public but not searchable: Your profile will be public, but not searchable by companies or in Google.
Private profile: Your profile will not be visible. You will continue to receive matches.
